This is my environment piece I made for my portfolio course at TGA. It took me 10 weeks to complete, I wanted to create a Moroccan courtyard that is in an active conflict zone as I wanted to delve into destruction and texture wear. However my main goal was to focus on modularity and improving my skills more with trimsheets and tilable textures. I used 2k textures for everything and I used a Mid poly workflow for most things in the scene

This was a fun piece to work on but challenging as I incorperated my own architectural layouts and designs into the environment while heavily referencing Moroccan design and materials so the environment felt authentic. The destruction was also a fun process and I learned a lot about the different methods you can use to achieve it.

Id like to thank my mentors Michael Tran and Zack Parkinson for giving me great feedback along the way. Id also like to thank my classmates for always being willing to help and for being supportive of each other during this period.
